Sound sync issue, Linux Mint 14, MakeMV 1.8.3

Hi all,

I just got this installed and started using it. Very nice and easy install.

I have tried VLC, Movie Player and Gnome MPlayer. Mplayer comes the closest to working properly but the sound is out of sync with the movie.

No being an experienced Multi Media person I'm hoping a guru on this forum can let me know what to check and or adjust.

I am using an AMD 64 4000+ CPU and 4GB ram. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but worth mentioning I think.

I'm not really sure if this is available in Linux version but do you have show AV sync issues available? It could perhaps point you to the right direction.

I don't see it but I am not that familiar with the app. Where would I look for it?
