Fatal Error v1.6.7

Post by shanghai'd »

I am converting Video_TS to MKV for TV series DVDs. I am having a fatal error each time MakeMKV completes one VOB and moves to the next episode VOB.

I am running OSX 10.6.7/2.16 Core 2 Duo

Earlier posts have indicated 1.6.5 is more stable. I downloaded and installed, but it would not initialize due to a need for an activation code - any help out there for this?

Your error is different so 1.6.5 won't help. You can get a current beta code from http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053 . Do you get a problem report dialog when MakeMKV crashes?

I do not get an error code, just the dialog box when it crashes. I have tried to encode files one by one, but when I move to the next file, it also crashes. At present, I am encoding one file, closing MakeMKV, reopening, rescanning, then encoding - very painful.

Is there a dump file beyond my earlier post that would help in debug?
