On 2 different Blu-rays (Doomsday, Warren Miller) my read rate stays constant at 1.6X but i know it can read at speeds faster than 4.0X
Does anyone know why this happens? It froze the first time I tried to rip it, I am trying a second time now...

What version are you using? Do you have daspi installed? Can you please try out a private version from http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3772
