Gray or Green frames at beginning of BD MKV from MAKEMKV

Post by Beatslars »

I'm not really sure what to do, I ripped a Blu-ray on my iMac using MakeMKV, it turned the main stream 00000.m2ts file into a 00000.mkv. I go to split the MKV into two files with MKVToolnix and there are green and sometime gray frames/scenes at the beginning of each video. I tried to trim them and even after the trimmed portion the new beginning of each split MKV still has the green and gray scenes/frames and when I run it through VLC, Quicktime, Windows Media Player there are gray and green frames right at the beginning of the video.

You have to split files on keyframe...
