audio format not supported

hi all
i have used make mkv to rib THE BFG movie and ALITA BATTLE ANGEL 4K howeever when played them using my sony ubp-700 it says audio format not supported.
can you help directing me here?

Which audio track(s) did you select to rip? If you play the MKV with something like VLC, what audio track codecs do you see available?

AAC (.AAC, .mka), AIFF (.aiff, .aif), ALAC (.m4a), Dolby® Digital (.ac3, .mka), DSD - DSDIFF/DSD (.dff, .dsf), FLAC (.flac, .fla), HEAAC v.1/v.2/level2, LPCM (.mka), Mokey’s Audio, Vorbis, WMA10 Pro, WMA9 Standard (.WMA)
Despite that being a UHD player, it seems to have a limited amount of audio codec support.
