Stuck Parsing VTS_2_0.IFO

A frequent occurrence on my laptop is for MakeMKV to become stuck on Parsing VTS 2.0 and then fail to open the disc. I have a Windows 7 64x laptop, and the same discs, American History X is one of the many, that will not work. I have an older Gateway the runs XP and is able to rip the discs fine with MakeMKV. My drive is a Toshiba DVDW/HD TS-L802A HP 21. Below is the Debug log

I believe this is an indication that your drive's lens is out of alignment...
