Box DvD set

Own the box set of B5 and need to move the episodes on to my PC, getting old 
MakeMkv did split the episodes up but would not name them, is this possible ?
Format of the DVD is VOB if that helps.
And Gom player ( has auto shutdown) does not see the playlist, as Ive named them myself as per above ?
Not sure about naming conventions ,not a ripper just want to save my Sci fi
