Hillary's America has 399 different titles, all 30.2GB... which one is the right one?

How can I determine which one is the right one to rip?

I noticed the same thing! Crap.

MakemKV labeled on "FPL_MainFeature" so I hope that was it... Only way I can get this on Plex (pre-order the BD over a month ago and got it today).

Okay, so I manually compared the streams/playlists with what I see from a BD player, and at least for me, it looks like playlist "BDMV\PLAYLIST\00350.mpls" is the correct one, playing these streams, in this order:

00511
00509
00515
00507
00510
00512
00501
00514
00502
00518
00505
00513
00516
00503
00504
00508
00517
00519
00506

Similar result with Now You See Me 2; 226 movie-length titles, and I don't see an "FPL_MainFeature" label (though I could be looking in the wrong place). Strangely, while 225 of them match the movie's length, one is 10 seconds longer.

I also don't think my BD player (Sony BDP-S3100) displays what streams it's playing at a given time.

Here's what I did:

1. I ran AnyDVD-HD and I copied the disc locally.
2. I ran "BDInfo" on the disk and generated a "report" of all the playlists, they're streams, etc.
3. I wrote a PowerShell script that parses the report, and shows me a list of all the streams that are *possible* as the first stream
4. I watch the disc in a BD player to see what the videa/audio look like.
5. I play all of the "possible" *.m2ts streams in VLC video player to determine which one it is.
6. I then update my script in step #3 so that it knows the FIRST stream, and uses that information to show all the possible SECOND streams.
7. I repeat steps #4 through #6 until I know which playlist is the only possible one left.

Now, whenever I come across a disc like this, it takes me ~20 minutes, but I find the correct playlist.

I use:
1. MakeMKV
2. AnyDVD HD
3. BDInfo
4. A CE BD player (I use an Xbox One console)

If you have AnyDVD, why not just grab the correct playlist displayed on the "Status" page? It's one of the key reasons to use AnyDVD.

An excellent question, and one with a good answer: Because AnyDVD-HD couldn't figure it out.

AnyDVD-HD is good at this with a lot of discs... but not all of them.

Yes and no. If you're using the most current version (currently 8.0.5.0), AnyDVD will handle most discs including many of the latest releases. But yes, there will be new releases that may not be ready immediately. For those, simply post a logfile of the failed disc and the RedFox team will update the OPD in due course. Then the correct playlist will be available.

I assume you're using RedFox's AnyDVD not the defunct Slysoft AnyDVD.

When I got the disc on Tuesday, I upgraded to the latest version of RedFox AnyDVD-HD, which, at the time, was 8.0.4.0.

Today, I saw that 8.0.5.0 is available. So, I installed it. Still, it does not show me which playlist is the primary one.

Correct, that's why one needs to post a logfile and make a request. Looks like there's a thread started at AnyDVD and, per their admin, the OPD has been updated, may want to try again. https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/hillary ... ost-452643

So I am not using any DVD and have no idea how to use it. Can someone share the correct track or mpls to use with MakeMKV?

Are you talking about the "Hillary's America" BluRay? I already mentioned in this thread that for me, it was playlist 00350. However, I'm not *positive* that yours is exactly the same.

I got mine at Best Buy.

AnyDVD is very cool... but it ain't free. I bought a lifetime license ($99, I think) from SlyFox, and when they went under, I needed to buy *another* lifetime license from RedFox (another ~$100).

I tried using anydvd but I guess I'm not computer literate because I had no idea how to use it or what to do with it. :(

And Oh yes the blu-ray version and anydvdHD is what i tried.

Best in class, IMHO. Terrible what happened to Slysoft, just glad the devs came back to start RedFox. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Best to go to RedFox for more information, www.redfox.bz. You can start there, as well as their forums.
