In my opinion the javascript that Mike developed has become more accurate over time. The last few Lionsgate discs have been on the nose.

Excuse me, but what kind of blu-ray reader do you have?

I'm looking for a new one with BD-J

Anyone know what the correct playlist is for the Netflix version? #760 produces the following segment map:

515,513,503,510,505,506,508,504,502,501,514,509,520,518,516,517,512,507

This apparently does not match the Redbox version :(

That looks like the right SM

Oops, you're right. I was looking at the SM of 0001 (the original post) - I guess in reading the entire thread, I forgot that the OP wasn't about 0760.

I used 760 for my US BR Netflix copy and it's good.

I tried the 760 on my Netflix BR version - and unfortunately about 10 minutes into it I got the black screen warning that this isn't a valid copy.......

Usually the MakeMKV FPL MainFeature works really well for me... but not sure what's happening on this particular one.

What are you playing it with? Some players respect the Cinavia copy protection, which MakeMKV doesn't do anything about. The solution is to use a player that doesn't implement Cinavia.

Woodstock - thanks for the response. I was using Kodi 17.0 to play it back. To the best of my knowledge Kodi doesn't enforce or detect Cinavia. I will admit - it's possible that this has changed, but so far I haven't run into any other Cinavia issues on Kodi with other movies. So I'm definitely stumped on this one. I'm going to try again using handbrake and perhaps another player like VLC. But this one is certainly baffling to me so any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Looking to rip the retail version and I see two 'highlighted' listings. One says "FPL_MainFeature" and the other says "SPBD Copy Disclaimer Playlist". My question is what is that second one? The segments orders for the two are different and the "Copy Disclaimer" one has an extra segment.

I've never seen makemkv tag the main feature. I have Windows version 1.10.4. Is there something special I have to do to see that?

You must have the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from java.com installed. This is NOT required to run MakeMKV itself, just to enable it to look for the correct title on these obfuscated disks. It is not always correct, though.

Great, thank you. I've got it all set correctly now.
