I did a search and didn't find any other threads on this.

This is in regards to the blu-ray disc from the Red source.

Two 32GB Titles on the disc. I converted them both, quick spot checks didn't indicate what the differences were. Which title should be used?

Disney film rule-of-thumb:

Seg map 800 - main title, English credits

Seg map 801 - main title if present, French (?) credits

Seg map 802 - main title if present, Spanish (?) credits

801/2 MAY be swapped... never get it right from memory.

Same file, same content. The fist one is the MPLS which should always be used (selects the right audio and subtitle tracks), the other one is the pure segment stream.

Not to mention, doesn't the 2nd one also "not" show any chapters in it... a hint that the first one is the correct one to use?

Only an MPLS (a metadata file which describes what should be assembled together from the different M2TS file segments) can have chapters, an M2TS file is a stream segment without chapters.
