How do I fix a posix error?

I'm currently running the latest version of MakeMKV on ubuntu which is dual booted on a Mac mini. Every time I go to rip a movie, I get a posix error. How can I solve this issue?

Depends on the POSIX error. Turn on Debug logging (link in my signature tells how), and let us see what MakeMKV is reporting.
Also, if you mini is dual-booting, have you tried the Mac version?
