I have a blu ray player that will play 3D files 'backed up' as BDMV files but not as MKV's

I have an ISO of a 3D blu ray I'd like to watch but when I open the ISO with make MKV The 'backup disc option' is greyed out and i can only make it into an MKV

Is it possible to create a backup from an ISO?

If the .iso is no longer protected, you can probably extract the folder using WinRAR/WinZip. If that fails, you could try mounting the .iso using a free virtual drive like Daemon Tools Lite or Redfox Virtual CloneDrive. Then you can process it like any other disc.

Daemon tools let makemkv see it as an optical drive and make a backup - thank you!
