"Underwater" errors

Post by namos23 »

Has anyone been able to rip Underwater (2020) successfully? I get "The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 15265234944, attempting to work around" and then it errors out, saying its a HashCheck problem - http://www.makemkv.com/errors/hashcheck/

But like almost every error, Make MKV claims that it's due to a "failing drive", which I know for sure it's not. It's only a few months old and I can rip plenty of other discs with it perfectly fine. So I'm assuming it's just something to do with new protection.

Thanks!

The post linked by Woodstock should address your problem, but yes, also just to confirm, no issues with this title. (Although not related to this issue, in the future, you may want to also mention the specific release you have, as there are usually at least a handful of different country releases for any given title.)
