But after finding the method describe here -- Reliable Way to Determine Episode Orde ... =6&t=20327" -- I believe I am on track to successfully ripping and ordering a collection of Blu-ray discs for "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (5 seasons).
I started with Season One, Disc 1, and created a spreadsheet to capture the data loaded in from the the disc into MakeMKV, and the result is below in a table. I will add more info on subsequent discs as I get them done.
Basically, the first set of .mpls files -- 00000.mpls thru 00011.mpls -- represent the show episode files, close to the correct order, which means you need to rename the ripped .mkv files for each appropriately, as E01-E11.
For example, this naming scheme should work to make the order correct:
- t18.mkv becomes S01E01.mkv
- t16.mkv becomes S01E02.mkv
- t15.mkv becomes S01E03.mkv

EDIT - March 14, 2024:
1) Added additional columns "EPISODE # / COMMENT" and "EPISODE TITLE".
2) Also, I noticed that the sequence of playlist files in this first batch were not accurate, with a couple extra episode versions
certainly throwing things off (the 2 versions with a commercial) and some other episodes out of order. This batch really took
reviewing each to make sure the episode #'s were assigned properly.
