The extended edition appears to be 838.mpls. It's the only one I see with a time stamp of 2:04:48.

I am seeing quite a few titles that are being skipped. I am new to this and wondering if in the preferences I need to set the Minimum Title length to less than 6 seconds? Will I be missing all the titles that were skipped in the final output if I dont change the settings?
Thank you in advance for all your help with this.

File 00990.mpls was added as title #93
File 00991.mpls was added as title #94
Title #00004.m2ts has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00005.m2ts has length of 6 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00006.m2ts has length of 6 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00011.m2ts has length of 11 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00019.m2ts has length of 21 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00020.m2ts has length of 22 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00021.m2ts was added as title #95
Title #00023.m2ts has length of 21 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00029.m2ts was added as title #96
Title #00079.m2ts has length of 12 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00081.m2ts has length of 15 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00100.m2ts was added as title #97
Title #00101.m2ts has length of 114 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00103.m2ts was added as title #98
Title #00114.m2ts has length of 57 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00115.m2ts has length of 50 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

Perhaps different versions which is a new tactic being used by the studios to frustrate the legitimate customer, but not even cause the pirates to pause.

So different versions of different versions (Regular, Limited Edition, Special Edition), plus different versions for different regions (not everyone here has posted their region info), can add up to many different correct playlists.

Do you know of a site online that provides the exact runtime including seconds? I found a site at one point that had this info and I can't find that site again.

Does anyone know the details for the extended edition (also purchased from Amazon)?

Does anyone know that the .mpls file is... or failing that, the correct info for the EXTENDED edition.

e.g.

Name: Now You See Me (English)
Source file name: 00752.mpls
Duration: 2:00:01
Chapters count: 17
Size: 24.9 GB
Segment count: 40
Segment map: 863,827,829,873,861,814,870,852,872,826,865,843,854,828,862,858,871,840,845,810,867,894,855,887,860,850,824,818,820,841,830,847,825,851,842,849,832,890,835,817

all you need to do is pop the bluray into your player and look at the actual run time of the movie which is 1:55:21.
Now just find the file with that run time and Presto you've got it.
Thats true but there are a ton of BR's that will have (3) 26GB files with the exact runtime. That will not always work. For ex. see Hunger Games-there are wrong mpls's in there that have the same runtime just a few chapters are out of order.
This is the problem I am having with Ender's Game so I don't know which playlist to use since all 3 have the same length. Any help on how to figure out which one is correct? Thanks!

I havent seen any posts online with the correct .mpls playlists for my specific Blu-ray edition of Now You See It, so I thought I should share the results of my testing.

The pressing I ended up with does not have a 651.mpls at all. There are two playlists - 380.mpls and 778.mpls - that match the correct Extended Version length of 2:04:48. There are also two different playlists - 546.mpls and 882.mpls - that match the correct Theatrical Version runtime of 1:55:21.

The correct playslists for this pressing are:
546.mpls - Theatrical Version (1:55:21)
778.mpls - Extended Version (2:04:48)

For each version I ripped both options and checked the chapter stops against playback in a hardware player. For the extended version there was only the one playlist where all the scenes matched.

Both playlists for the theatrical version seem to have the same video content, but 546.mpls has all the audio tracks that sync to the feature and 882.mpls has a single audio track with the commentary. I guess grab that track as well if you care to keep the commentary and mux it in with the rest of the tracks.

If it looks like your disc has the same layout, you should be good with the above playlists.

I'm working on Now You See Me right now. I got it from Amazon. It's the Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD version. It says EXTENDED EDITION (ALSO INCLUDES THEATRICAL VERSION) at the top.

MakeMKV identifies two "Primary Titles" One is 705, the other is 763.
Only 763 appears correct. 705 shows just a single audio track with no subtitles.

As for the extended edition, using the running time of (2:04:48), I found that 838 is the one you want.

I haven't tried these yet to verify, but so far everything looks good.

Retail Copy Extended Edition - AnyDVD identified these three tracks as valid:

705
763
838

705 jumped, but 763 seems to be the Standard Version and 838 ripped correctly as the extended edition.
