ASUS BW-16D1HT: 90DD01E0-B20000 or 90DD01E0-B20010?

Post by FredK »

New ASUS BW-16D1HT (retail) will be offered with two different ASUS product numbers:
- 90DD01E0-B20000
- 90DD01E0-B20010

Does anybody know about the differences? Are both products suitable as a LibreDrive?

btw.: I found only one product number for the bulk variant (90DD01E0-B30000). Any advantage for the retail version?

Thank you for the clarification.
In the meantime I bought an ASUS BW-16D1HT (whatever Pro or Non-Pro, I assume 90DD01E0-B20000 Non-Pro) from an official ASUS shop. After a downgrade from 3.0.3 to 3.02 DE and at last to 3.10 MK I'm fully satisfied.

Mine is a 90DD0200-B20000
Manufactured date January 2019

Any idea if this can be made into a friendly drive?

Of course it can!

If it came with 3.10, flash 3.10-MK on it. You can then leave it with 3.10-MK or flash to whatever other firmware you want.
If it came with 3.03, flash whatever firmware you like.
Cheers :D
