The Dark Knight UHD rip help

Post by palmerwallace »

All,

I've been having difficulty ripping "The Dark Knight" that came with the original Nolan UHD set. No problems with Batman Begins or Dark Knight Rises, however. Here is the information I get as well as the log output attached.

MakeMKV v1.14.5 win(x64-release) started
Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\palmerwallace/MakeMKV_log.txt
Using direct disc access mode
Using LibreDrive mode (v05 id=96929CF53B04)
Downloading latest HK to C:/Users/palmerwallace/Desktop ...
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.

Tried to send dump numerous times to support & svq@makemkv.com with no change thus far in the software accepting the disc. Thank you all in advance for your time and help.

I'm also having an issue ripping The Dark Knight UHD disc from the trilogy set I bought last week from Amazon. Both batman begins and Dark Knight Rises rip without issue, bu the Dark Knight returns a 'volume key unknown'.
I also tried a backup, but it would only allow me to do so unencrypted and the issue is still there when I try to create an MKV file from the back up.

I'm running MakeMKV v1.14.5 win(x64-release) on a windows 10 PC and using the drive BW-16D1HT original 3.00 firmware.

I've attached the tgz file if it's of any help, but wi'll also send it to svq@makemkv.com

Your error is not the same as the OP.

For that error posting the dump in the forum will not get you anywhere, but you did right by submitting the file to that email. Only Mike (owner/developer of MakeMKV) can assist with that error and use that dump as needed. No one in the forums can.

Make sure MakeMKV can connect to the internet so that it can retrieve the latest keys from MakeMKV servers at all times.

I wasn’t stating that I had the same issue, merely that I had an issue with the same title.
Not sure who in the modern day works offline, but thanks for your insight.
