does the drive still work like read disks and stuff?

2 people here report that flashing it to ASUS-BW-16D1H-U-A204-WM01001-211901041044.bin works i have not personally tested that though

Thanks for reply. No, I tested the unit for watching and backing up the movie and it's unusable because of too many reading errors. Furthermore it is no longer able to burn any disc.
Do you have any idea what I can try to do to flash the correct firmware (DE bc-12d2ht 3.00)?

I read the topic. I flashed the ASUS-BW-16D1H-U-A204-WM01001-211901041044.bin successfully, but afterwards I can't flash any firmware for bc-12d2ht anyway. although as I read in the topic I could flash the DE_LG_WH16NS60_1.00.bin but even from here I can't flash the one for bc-12d2ht. now I have reflashed the 3.10mk.

It makes me wonder if my latest flasher update caused this issue. It can be difficult as I don't have one of each different drive to test it with!!

@franz, can you please try using the old flasher. I have attached it for you. It works exactly the same way.

Ok. At least I now know it’s not the flasher. Doesn’t help you though... I’ll have a think about it and see if I can come up with something else for you.

Hi, I just bought an LG BP60NB10, manufactured in July 2019 with firmware version 1.01. I'm trying to downgrade the firmware, but I'm running into errors.

I downloaded the "(Modified) ASUS ODD FW Changer + UHD Friendly Firmwares (24.08.2019)" flasher, and attempted to flash it with the "HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.00-NM00200-211711211720.bin" file located in the "MK\HL-DT-ST\BP60NB10" folder. When I do, I get "error #4". I don't know what this means, but I'm assuming I must have made a mistake somewhere.

Am I using the wrong tool / firmware version? Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I'm pretty new to this.

@f.... @wellandman

I'd say that 1.01 is fairly new and has probably disabled downgrading.

There still is not a 1.01 version in the MK pack either. Maybe one of you guys can contact mike admin and see if he can possibly extract it from your drive.
