ASUS BC-12D2HT

Post by SoulSurvivor »

Hello all,

I was able to flash my BDROM with the firmware "ASUS-BC-12D2HT-3.11-WM00300-211902271319" with the "ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer_(Modified)". I have the information below from makemkv program :

Drive Information
OS device name: F:
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BC-12D2HT
Revision: 3.11
Serial number: KL4JALB4707
Firmware date: 2119-02-27 13:19
Bus encryption flags: 1E
Highest AACS version: 66

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Firmware type: Patched (microcode access re-enabled)
Firmware version: 3.11
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Possible, not yet enabled

But when I insert a UHD or even a BD disc, it's searching but find no disc.

I'm hitting my head against the wall, so if someone could help this would be super nice ! :)

Many thanks,
Gabriel

A DVD don't work.
Windows see the drive but not the disc.

FYI there is a very small image like 2mm each of two guys with a green t-shirt on the icon of this drive that there is not on the others.

1. He is plugged Sata, and the controller on the bios is on AHCI. I've tried also on another pc that have the controller in IDE but this is the same.

2,Nevertheless and if this could help, I have the same problem with another drive, the LG WH16NS60 but the difference is that he is able to see at least the CD (but not the DVD, BD and UHDBD). Important information, I was able to see a 4k UHD disk! "When Big Meet Bigger", I've started the ripping, but in the middle of the operation he put me a reading error. I stopped the process and I remove the disk, I cleaned it, re-enter the disk... He never showed me again the 4k disc....
I received this LG WH16NS60 drive with the firmware 1.02. I had to crossflash with a few other firmwares, included some Asus before being able to flash him with a "good one". So I was able to put your 1.02 mk firmware, also tried with the firmware DE 1.00, both don't work. I was so so desesperate that I even tried with the Dvdfab downgrade method, same results...
