When you load MakeMKV, what does it say about the drive?

Recommended Firmware to flash for MakeMKV:

BU40N > BU40N 1.03MK

Thank you for your quick response.

So you mean that I can simply flash the 1.03mk over the firmware PH07?

I'm new here.
could you briefly tell me which tool I should use for flashing?

The link Billycar11 posted is to the drives guide on this forum. In there, you'll find links to the various firmware, flashing tools, and what not. I think the SDFtool by MartyMcNuts is the preferred choice these days.

Did you notice MakeMKV writing an FW_xxxxxxxx.tgz file for this drive? Should have been created on first disc opening and placed into MakeMKV data directory. Please send this file to support@makemkv.com

So that means there was an issue with your version 14.0. :scratch

About your last issue it is the workgroup. You must set the same workgroup than this one of your laptop set with the lan setup menu
